The male contraceptive pill. For years it has been speculated to make its way to the counters of our pharmacies but still we haven't caught side of it. Every once in a while a new statement is released in the media; the pill would still have "too many side effects". While looking in to this scary list of side effects, one finds the list is comparable, if not shorter than the one list of side effects for the contraceptive pill for women.
So the question raises, how come we don't put as much responsibility on men as on women, when it comes to the responsibility of contraception. Also with the wild claims regarding the corona vaccination AstraZeneca, some media outlets we're fast to point out that uncanny enough, the risks of thrombosis are way higher for the birth control pill for women than the AstraZeneca vaccination. Now contraceptives have brought women leaps forward in the fight for emancipation and the side effects are, take this in mind, possible side effects. Most women don't experience problems with taking the pill as a birth control method. But still it is important to regard that also some to plenty women do.
